hello there again.
being stuck in my "escape" mode still...a tendency towards daydreaming is inevitable.
thus i ask you, who is best for daydreaming company than your favorite period drama books and films?
since i was lost in thought, pulling up phrases and scenes,
re-categorizing and re-evaluating my mental archive, i thought i might share a few of my favorite quotes...
one thing i must say about jane austen, is that i really enjoy these quirky, ever so lightly ironic remarks like the one above. i enjoy them as much as the ones i think are the truest to reality, like...

it is absolutely true. there even are times when one is naturally drawn to another just because of the beauty of their character.
although in her case she gave it just fine, mr tinley showed up in the nicest manner.
but my most favorite of the stories, had a quote that stayed with me.
this i empathized with,
not just in possible cases of unjustly managed romance, but in cases of misunderstood friendships as well.

anyways...that is all i guess.
i would love to hear your favorite quotes. perhaps next time i'll do a "north and south" tribute.
unless you vote for another grand story that is!
