well, as i told you yesterday, i had a high fashion dy inspiration
that i am planning to share with you today. this is pretty easy especially if...
a. you know a bit of stitching and
b. you have old embroidered pieces around, which if you are greek related is pretty dern possible.
so here is what you can use!

you can use...
either a black knitted top, a slouch shoulder bag, a shirt dress' back.
for the most daring and patient, old black pumps!
this time i will show you the idea on a shirt which is the easiest to illustrate.
take the embroidery, and place it on the top in the position you like.
lightly stitch it on without damaging the sewing. stitch it around the perimeter and preferably the diagonal "x".
the "x" part is tricky because you want to make the tiniest possible stitches between thickly stitched parts so as not to ruin your design with dashed lines but still fasten it on the top.
after all this embellish the pattern with a frame of black velvet ribbon, thickness enough to join shirt and embroidery. again tiny stitches on the edges of the ribbon.
if you are not patient enough or afraid of ruining shirt or embroidery you can always result to fabric glue.

is this a trend you are fond of? would you try it?
if you do please let me know!

Love your DIY. I put away my sewing machine after I had kids so I like the fabric glue option. The velvet ribbon around is a good idea. Thanks for sharing it! :)
